Happy African Union Day!

“We must become members of a new race, overcoming petty prejudice… owing our ultimate allegiance not to nations but to our fellow men within the human community.” – Haile Selassie

Today, we remember that our strength as Africans lies in unity, not division. Let’s build a continent where every child, every community, every nation rises together.

“You have to be a champion of failure.” – Dr. Katalin Karikó

She was demoted. Ignored. Rejected for funding.
For decades, her belief in mRNA was called a dead end.

But Dr. Karikó didn’t stop failing. She championed it.

Then a global pandemic hit. And the science she refused to abandon became the foundation of life‑saving vaccines that reached billions.

This WomanCrushWednesday, we celebrate not just her breakthrough – but her backstory.

Because here’s the lesson every student, every educator, every founder needs to hear:

Failure isn’t the opposite of success. It’s the path to it.

At Tebah Educational Initiative, we teach young people that falling down is part of rising up. Dr. Karikó proves it: patient science changes lives. Patient persistence changes everything.

“Climate change is not only a threat, it is above all, an opportunity.”

That’s not wishful thinking.
That’s Vanessa Nakate – a climate justice activist from Uganda who turned concern into collective action.

While the world debates, she mobilizes.
Across Africa, she’s leading youth and communities to flip the script: from fear to action, from crisis to creation.

This WomanCrushWednesday, we celebrate Vanessa not because she talks about change – but because she is the change.

And here’s the question she leaves us with:
👉🏾 Are you still seeing climate change as only a problem? Or are you ready to see the opportunity?

At Tebah Educational Initiative, we believe that every threat holds a lesson, and every challenge holds a door. Vanessa Nakate just showed us where it leads.

Tag a young leader who’s turning concern into action. 🔁

THAT UNCOMFORTABLE FEELING IN YOUR CHEST RIGHT NOW?
THAT IS NOT FAILURE.
THAT IS EXPANSION !

Most people wait until they feel ready.
But readiness doesn’t come before the stretch, it comes during it.

If you’re in a new role, learning a hard skill, leading a team for the first time, or simply showing up differently – and it feels unfamiliar – congratulations. You’re exactly where growth happens.

At Tebah Educational Initiative, we see this every day. Growth isn’t comfortable. But it’s always worth it.

So this Monday, don’t run from the awkward, the hard, or the unknown.
Welcome it. Be patient with yourself. The growth is in the stretch.

👇🏾 Share one thing you’re currently stretching into. Let’s encourage each other.

SHE DOESN’T JUST NEED TO USE TECHNOLOGY. SHE NEEDS TO BUILD IT.

That is the difference between surviving in the digital world and leading it.

Yet too often, girls and young women are taught to be consumers of ICT - not creators.

Today on International Girls in ICT Day, let’s say it clearly:

👉🏾 For girls to thrive in STEM careers, they need more than access. They need skills, confidence, and the freedom to imagine, code, design, and invent.

At Tebah Educational Initiative, we’re committed to raising creators not just users.

Because the next big solution won’t come from someone who just scrolled. It will come from someone who built.

📢 Tag a girl, a mentor, or an organization that’s helping close the digital gender gap.
