✨ Member Highlight: Amanda Kriescher ✨

Meet Amanda Kriescher, a freelance writer and copywriter who joined Management Women about 9 months ago and has already embraced the power of connection and community.

Amanda joined Management Women to be surrounded by fellow women in business to learn, grow, and build meaningful relationships along the way.

One of the most valuable lessons she's learned throughout her career? Not comparing herself to others and how they're running their businesses. Staying focused on her own path has helped her continue moving forward with confidence.

What Amanda enjoys most about Management Women is the people. From meeting fellow members to hearing inspiring speakers at our luncheons, she appreciates being part of a community that supports one another not only in business, but in life.

A fun fact about Amanda: she's a huge fan of historical fiction, especially stories set during World War II. 📚

And if she could travel anywhere? The Grand Canyon is at the top of her U.S. bucket list, while Italy is her dream international destination. ✈️

We're so glad you're part of the Management Women community, Amanda!

✨ Member Highlight: Sara Syring

This month we’re excited to highlight Sara Syring, a dedicated member of Management Women, Inc. for 20+ years!

Sara joined MWI because she wanted to be part of a supportive community where women can learn from one another and grow both professionally and personally. Over the years, that sense of connection and encouragement has remained one of the most meaningful parts of her membership.

💡 Best leadership advice:
“Prioritize and work on the problems that matter most — and don’t sweat the small stuff.”

🤝 Favorite part of MWI:
Connecting with other professional women and being part of a community that genuinely supports and uplifts one another.

💼 What Sara does professionally:
Sara serves as a Vice President and Controller, bringing strong leadership and financial expertise to her organization.

🔎 A fun fact about Sara:
She’s a true crime enthusiast! Sara admits she often stays up much later than she should because she has to find out how they caught the criminal.

✈️ Favorite place to travel:
Europe- especially Italy.

❤️ A meaningful part of Sara’s MWI experience:
Sara shared that members of Management Women were incredibly supportive during her foster and adoption journey. After fostering two girls for three years, she officially adopted them and is so grateful to be part of an organization that supports her both professionally and in her personal life.

✨ Member Highlight: Amy Hechimovich!

This month we’re shining the spotlight on Amy, a dedicated member of Management Women, Inc. for the past 10 years!

Amy joined MWI because she believes deeply in continuous growth and the power of community. The organization’s focus on networking, mentorship, and professional development immediately resonated with her - especially the opportunity to connect with women across industries, learn from inspiring speakers, and support scholarship candidates while building meaningful relationships.

She also credits Sue Hoffmann for introducing her to MWI and encouraging her to get involved. “Her support and belief in this organization made all the difference,” Amy says.

💡 Best leadership advice:
“Show up every day as if it’s your first day on the job. It’s easy to get comfortable — it’s powerful to stay intentional.”

🎓 Favorite part of MWI:
The May meeting celebrating scholarship recipients. Amy loves being part of honoring the next generation of leaders in our community.

💼 What Amy does professionally:
Amy serves as a District Collections Manager at the American Red Cross, where she leads blood collection professionals, fosters a supportive team culture, and guides operations that help save lives through critical blood donations.

❄️ A fun fact about Amy:
Every February you’ll find her in a sturgeon shack on Lake Winnebago, pink spear in hand, eyes on the ice hole, hoping for a glimpse of one of Wisconsin’s ancient fish. It’s a tradition she looks forward to all year long!

🌍 Favorite place to travel:
Anywhere she can explore the world with her family because for Amy, the destination matters less than the memories made together.

💬 Amy’s message to women in leadership:
“If you’re looking for growth, connection, and purpose, consider joining Management Women, Inc. It’s a powerful community of women supporting women through leadership development, meaningful networking, and investing in future leaders.”

We’re so grateful for the leadership, energy, and passion Amy brings to both the MWI and surrounding community!

We’re thrilled to celebrate one of our own Lisa Cribben for being recognized on not one, but TWO national Forbes lists!🖋️📰

Lisa was named among America’s Top 100 CPAs in Valuation, the only professional from Wisconsin to earn a spot, AND also honored on the Best in State CPAs 2026 list, recognizing just 24 individuals across the entire state of Wisconsin out of nearly 8,000 CPAs.

These distinctions highlight Lisa’s exceptional expertise, leadership, and commitment to excellence in the accounting and valuation profession. We’re proud to have her as part of our incredible community and to see her contributions recognized at the national level.

Congratulations, Lisa! We are so proud of you! 💙

✨ Meet Melanie Boreham!

Melanie has been part of the Management Women community for about six months, and she joined thanks to a recommendation from someone she admires, our president, Elise! Melanie jumped in and quickly discovered how much she loves the women-supporting-women energy of the group. It even reminds her of the camaraderie she experienced at her all-girls high school.

Her advice to other women? Say yes to opportunities you normally wouldn’t.
Melanie shared that she followed this mindset all last year, and it opened the door to exciting new ventures. She also strongly believes that when you truly love what you do and feel passionate about your work, success naturally follows, and making money becomes the icing on the cake.

Melanie channels that passion into not one, but two creative careers. She works as a graphic designer at the Salvation Army Kroc Center and is also the balloon artist and owner behind POP of Color Green Bay Balloons, bringing colorful, creative designs to events throughout the community.

One of the things she appreciates most about Management Women is the all-women networking environment, which can make it easier to connect, share ideas, and build relationships in a supportive space.

A fun fact about Melanie: she was born and raised in Los Angeles for 44 years before her family made a bold move. They sold their home and traveled across the United States for an entire year to decide where to settle, ultimately choosing Green Bay, a decision she says has been the best one for her family. Now that they’ve been here for about 2.5 years, she’s excited to keep exploring more of Wisconsin’s cities and attractions.

And there’s even more exciting news! Melanie was recently hired to teach at a balloon conference in Florida this November, where she’ll be teaching balloon costuming to other balloon professionals for a week. It’s a dream opportunity and a testament to her creativity and expertise!

We’re so glad Melanie said “yes” to Management Women and we can’t wait to see all the colorful ways she continues to inspire our community. 🎈

Last week some of our members gathered for After Hours at the Neville Public Museum to explore A Place at the Table: Food, Culture, and Community in Northeast Wisconsin. From Indigenous foodways to the agricultural roots and immigrant traditions that shape our region, the exhibit sparked meaningful conversation and connection among incredible women in our community.

Moments like these are what make Management Women Inc. so special, learning together, supporting one another, and building relationships that extend far beyond the event itself.

It's time for another ✨ Member Highlight! ✨

Today we introduce Inga Arendt. For more than 20 years, she has been a valued member of the Management Women community, bringing insight, connection, and a passion for professional growth.

Inga originally joined Management Women because she was looking to connect with other professional women in the area. She was drawn to the organization’s commitment to supporting both personal and professional development, along with the meaningful work Management Women does through scholarships and opportunities for women to grow and lead.

Her advice for fellow professionals is simple but powerful:
"Set boundaries. You don’t have to do it all or please everyone. Save your time and energy for what you truly enjoy and where you can make the biggest impact."

One of Inga’s favorite parts of being involved with Management Women has been the opportunity to connect with so many incredible women and build meaningful relationships along the way.

Professionally, Inga works in accounting and advisory services, bringing years of expertise and thoughtful guidance to her field.

A fun fact about Inga: she was born in Japan while her dad was serving in the Air Force during one of his two tours there. She spent much of her early childhood and elementary school years living in Japan, and she’s looking forward to returning as an adult to revisit those memories. 🇯🇵

We’re so grateful to have Inga as part of the Management Women community and appreciate the perspective, experience, and encouragement she shares with others.
