Future Fungi uses mycelium (mushrooms) and natural materials to produce eco-friendly alternatives to plastic. This process will have many applications.

Rather than using chemicals and petroleum based products, we have substituted naturally grown matter which is unique. By using organic byproducts, Future Fungi is able to grow recyclable products to take the place of many daily used items rather than using non-biodegradable plastic or Styrofoam which is hazardous to the nature and takes hundreds of years to break down. Our mission is to reduce pla

stic trash/plastic use by introducing a new energy efficient and natural solution that not only won’t do harm to ecosystems, but rather helps to strengthen them. Thanks to our sponsors:

You might be wondering what happened to the vision of Future Fungi, LLC? Well there's a new research in the process!
We're working on an exciting idea with amazing minds behind 3D Printing Store in Denver, CO on possible solutions to 3D print mushroom material.
This can result in very exciting future opportunities to create biodegradable items.

Thank you so much WV Governor's STEM Institute and Green Bank Observatory for the opportunity to introduce my research plan to the students and share Future Fungi, LLC's recent activity and goals.
Hope that my presentation has sparked new ideas and motivated students to start a journey toward their own STEM research!
