Camp C.S. Klaus Scouting America Camp C.S. Klaus Camp C.S. Klaus is situated on a 200 acre wooded valley, located near Colesburg in the countryside of Northeastern Iowa.

The camp is home to a beautiful lake, 40 foot climbing tower, newly constructed COPE course, and trails for all ability levels. With its eight camp sites, platform tents, private showers, and beautiful dining hall, Camp Klaus provides a comfortable yet adventurous camping experience. Whether you're looking to earn merit badges, participate in high adventure-like experiences, or just relax in the o

utdoors, Camp Klaus has it all. Our program areas include Ecology, Handicraft, Field Sports, Aquatics, Arts, Leadership, & Communication, Tower & COPE, Sales & Management, and Scout Craft. Additionally, we offer fun activities during the afternoon and evening, such as our Ironman Competition, Water Follies, and Monday Night Games, that will keep you having fun all day and night.
