United Way Weld County's Cold Weather Shelter will officially open for the season on November 8, 2023. Adults aged 18+ are welcome.

The shelter is located at 870 28th Street in the Housing Navigation Center. The overnight shelter is open from 7 p.m.-7 a.m., seven days a week. Day shelter and housing navigation services are available Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m.

Families with children and youth seeking shelter should contact the Guadalupe Community Center (1442 N 11th Avenue) at 970-353-6433.

As with last year, we will keep the community informed online and in person about additional shelter options and needs if the city faces extreme weather events.

This guy is an example of hard work and success at The Rock Found!
Jose came into our WAGEES program over a year ago and obtained a bike as an incentive to gaining employment. He excelled at his job and went to Aims Community College for Welding. He accomplished one of his goals and is now the owner of his dream truck. We are proud of your accomplishments, Jose!!! Keep up the good work!
