Excited to celebrate Giselle as she takes the next step toward an incredible future! 🎓💙

Giselle is graduating from Westfield High School and heading to James Madison University, where she plans to study Engineering while continuing her love for the game through club soccer.

As a center back for GFR, Giselle has been a strong and dependable presence on the field, bringing leadership, toughness, and consistency to every match. Her dedication and work ethic have made a lasting impact on her teammates and coaches.

We are so proud of everything Giselle has accomplished and can’t wait to see all she achieves at JMU and beyond.

Celebrating Brianna as she prepares for an exciting new chapter! 🎓💙

Brianna is graduating from Gainesville High School and attending Shenandoah University, where she will continue her athletic career playing lacrosse at the collegiate level.

During her time with GFR, Brianna played goalkeeper and brought determination, toughness, and leadership to the team. Her dedication on and off the field has made her an important part of the GFR family.

We are proud of all she has accomplished and can’t wait to see what the future holds for her at Shenandoah.

Recognizing Samantha for all of her hard work, dedication, and accomplishments as she celebrates this exciting milestone! 🎓💙

Samantha is graduating from Westfield High School and heading to Goucher College, where she plans to study Psychology while continuing her soccer career at the Division III level.

A versatile player in the center midfield and on the wing, Samantha has brought energy, determination, and teamwork to every match. She has played with Coach Jimmy since U13, beginning in Herndon, continuing through DMVFC, and now at GFR — a journey that reflects her commitment, growth, and passion for the game over the years.

We are so proud of Samantha and can’t wait to see all she accomplishes in this next chapter both academically and athletically.

Wishing Gianna all the best as she closes out an amazing high school career and gets ready for an exciting future ahead! 🎓💙

Gianna is graduating from Riverside High School and heading to University of Lynchburg, where she plans to study Criminology while continuing her soccer career at the collegiate level.

Over the last four years, Gianna has been coached by Coach Tina, Coach Matt and Coach Jimmy, growing into a dynamic and versatile player for GFR. Primarily a forward/striker, she has also stepped up wherever the team needed her — playing as an attacking wide player, center back, and outside defender. Her work ethic, adaptability, and competitive spirit have made her an invaluable teammate and leader on the field.

We are incredibly proud of all Gianna has accomplished and can’t wait to see her continue to succeed both academically and athletically at Lynchburg.

Mia is graduating from St. John’s College High School and heading to the University of Georgia, where she plans to study International Business and Finance while continuing her soccer journey through club soccer in college.

As a forward for GFR, Mia has brought energy, determination, and a competitive spirit to the field. Her dedication both academically and athletically has made us proud to have her as part of the GFR family.

Lela is graduating from South Lakes High School and heading to William & Mary, where she plans to study Neuroscience and continue playing club soccer in college.

Lela has been part of the GFR family for many years, beginning in our rec program and growing into a standout goalkeeper through her dedication and hard work. She has been a fearless leader on the field, bringing confidence, determination, and composure to every match while making a lasting impact on her teammates and coaches alike.

Congratulations to Cameryn on an incredible achievement! 🎓💙

After years of dedication on and off the field, Cameryn is graduating from Chantilly High School and heading to Spelman College to study Political Science. A strong defender for GFR, she brought leadership, determination, and heart to every game she played.

We are so proud of all she has accomplished and can’t wait to see what’s next — including the possibility of continuing her love for the game through recreational soccer in college.

🏆 Champions Again for 2012G Blue! 💙

The 2012G Blue squad capped off an incredible 2026 Spring season by winning the top bracket at the Virginian Soccer Tournament! The girls battled to a huge 1-0 victory over VA Revolution GA in the championship match to bring home the title. ⚽🔥

Their season was nothing short of outstanding:
✅ Virginian Soccer Tournament Champions
✅ 3rd Place in ECNL-RL Virginia
✅ Undefeated Spring Season (7-0 record)

This team showed grit, determination, and consistency all spring long. Huge congratulations to the players and coaches on an amazing season! 💪💙

2013B Green battled their way to an exciting finish at the Canon Cup! 💚⚽️

The boys finished tied for 1st in their bracket, narrowly missing out on the finals due to tiebreaker rules. Even more impressive — they were the ONLY team to defeat the squad that advanced!

Proud of the fight, resilience, and teamwork this group showed all weekend long. The future is bright for this team! 🔥👏
