Pheasants Forever MT - Great Falls - Golden Triangle Chapter This chapter is located in Great Falls but encompasses the counties of Cascade, Choteau, Glacier, Pondera and Teton.

Pheasants Forever's mission is to conserve pheasants, quail, and other wildlife through habitat improvements, public access, education, and conservation advocacy. Our chapter is hosting a fundraising raffle, with winners drawn at our banquet on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the Elks Lodge. Winners don’t need to be present to claim their prize. Our chapter held a w**d control day on the Teton Wildlife Area and it was a successful day. We pulled knapw**d along the Teton River along with a variety of thistle. We made a dent but will have more work to do in the future. The PF property is on both sides of the river. We sprayed the field on the northeast side of the river and thistle was sprayed on the south and southwest side of the river. No chemicals were sprayed along the river. We had a great turnout of volunteers 13 with 3 not in the picture. Without this help, we would find it difficult to continue our ongoing mission. I've supplied pictures of the group and as grueling the work is, it brought complete satisfaction of making a difference. Please reach out to us if you are interested in volunteering because there is always going to be work on this property.

We will be having a work day for knapw**d removal on our Teton property June 13. Any help would be appreciated please bring a good set of work gloves and let us know if you will be attending as we will provide refreshments and lunch.

We were a proud sponsor of the Wild Wings Event held this weekend in Choteau MT. For those of you who may not know about this, it's a 3-day event to view the waterfowl migration at Freezeout Lake. We were able to participate by setting up an information table to spotlight our chapter and the mission of Pheasants Forever. We spoke with many people and gained some memberships. Thank you to all who stopped by our table and a special thank you to the people who supported Pheasants Forever with their membership.
