Bring your friends and family to Pat Miller square in the heart of Del Ray to support incredible local musicians, sing along with your neighbors, play games, win prizes, and help get Alexandria teens out into nature. The forecast says there may be a slight drizzle, so bring an umbrella and your dancing shoes because we are on RAIN OR SHINE!

Please join us in welcoming to the stage our third band for the Wilderness Kids Community Music Festival, Fork In The Road!

Fork In The Road converged in 2025 in Alexandria, Virginia. This eclectic rock outfit features husband-and-wife rhythm duo Jeannette Gaudry (drums & vocals) and Chris Haynie (bass), Dana Grayson (keys and vocals), and guitarists Jalyn Henton, Matt Mauney, and Mike Davis. 

Bringing a fresh, high-energy spark to the modern "mom and dad band" scene, FITR blurs genre lines with a setlist spanning everything from ’60s classic rock and ’80s pop to Broadway showstoppers.

Fork in the Road will take to the Wilderness Kids Music Festival stage September 27 at 1:30PM.

¡Démosles la bienvenida al escenario a nuestro tercer grupo del Festival de Música Comunitario Wilderness Kids, Fork In The Road!

Fork In The Road se formó en 2025 en Alexandria, Virginia. Este ecléctico grupo de rock está formado por el dúo rítmico compuesto por el matrimonio Jeannette Gaudry (batería y voz) y Chris Haynie (bajo), Dana Grayson (teclados y voz) y los guitarristas Jalyn Henton, Matt Mauney y Mike Davis.

We’re excited to announce that Bad Dates Band will be opening the 2026 Wilderness Kids Community music festival!

Bad Dates Band is a high school band from Alexandria, Virginia. Their set lists bounce between classic rock, soft rock, and just about any genre that catches their attention. While they're mostly known for playing covers, they're also working on their first original song. Whether you're singing along, dancing, or just trying to figure out why they're called the Bad Dates, they're always excited to play music, and hope you have as much fun listening as they do playing.

Join us in singing, dancing, and cheering for Bad Dates as they take the stage in Pat Miller Square on September 27!

Bad Dates Band es una banda de preparatoria de Alexandria, Virginia. Introducing, last but certainly not least, The Walkaways!

The Walkaways are a Washington, DC-based band making original music since 2006.  The band's sound has been consistently described as "alt-country" (Washington Post, Washington City Paper, Washingtonian Magazine), although the songs draw even more broadly from Americana, folk, roots, country, alt-rock, indie, and classic rock. All music available on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, and CD Baby.

Verny Varela is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and vocalist whose credits include collaborations with Thievery Corporation, Tito Gomez and Ceila Cruz!
Born in Cali, Colombia’s “Barrio Obrero,” Verny brings the vibrant sounds of salsa and Latin rhythms to the stage. With advanced degrees in music, arts, and philosophy, his work bridges culture, scholarship, and artistry.
