Project Gallantly Forward Veterans Retreat

Project Gallantly Forward Veterans Retreat Cultivating peace and purpose. A rural retreat where Veterans can move forward together.

Project Gallantly Forward has developed a plan to provide healing for the visible and invisible wounds of war by offering a peaceful, safe veteran retreat in rural Tennessee. Participation in the program will be free of charge to veterans and their loved ones. Veterans will have access to a private working farm where they can have the time and space to begin healing while in the company of other v

eterans who are on the same path. Our goal is for the retreat to have six fully furnished cabins, available for five day stays for veterans and their families. This model has the capability to reach over 300 veteran families each year. There would be up to five RV spaces created for short-term use for veterans who would prefer those accommodations. Additionally, there will be staff cabins available for use for volunteer disabled veteran staff to stay while working at the retreat.

Memorial Shields available from now until July 4🛡️ 🇺🇸

Project Gallantly Forward has reopened the opportunity for our community to honor the heroes who shaped our lives, our families, and our nation by placing a shield for your Veteran on the Memorial Fenceline. The PGF Veteran Memorial Fenceline, first dedicated in 2024, stands as a living tribute to the men and women who served with courage, resilience, and unwavering commitment to freedom.

This powerful display lines the road of the retreat property, with each stainless‑steel shield representing a Veteran remembered or honored by name. Every shield tells a story — of sacrifice, of service, of legacy — and together they form a place of reflection for all who visit.

Thanks to A&C Fabrication for partnering with us to cut the shields and make it possible for us to reopen this opportunity.

🎣 Fishing With a Veteran Tournament — Registration Now Open! 🇺🇸

Project Gallantly Forward is proud to announce the 2026 Fishing with a Veteran Tournament November 7, 2026

This isn’t just a day on the water — it’s a chance to give Veterans space to breathe, connect, and heal alongside people who truly understand their journey. Last year’s inaugural tournament SOLD OUT with 25 teams and 26 Veterans, and the stories, camaraderie, and impact were unforgettable.

This year, we’re aiming even bigger. We expect to serve 35–50 Veterans, and we’re calling on our community to help make this event extraordinary.

🌟 How You Can Support:
We’re seeking donations of fishing gear, outdoor items, and prize contributions — plus local Pros willing to serve as boaters for the day. Sponsors will be featured on all promotional materials and event advertising.

🏅 Sponsorship Tiers:
Platinum – $2000
Gold – $1500
Silver – $1000
Bronze – $500

Every contribution directly supports Veterans in finding connection, calm, and community — something that can truly change a life.

Message us if you're interested in sponsorship opportunites.

Register for the event at www.fishingwithaveteran.org

Let’s make this year’s tournament one they’ll never forget. 🇺🇸💙

If you are needing any dirt work done give KNP Land Management a try. They donated their time and machines to help improve the view from the retreat. We can’t wait to see it when the grass is back and it’s full of water and fish!
