🚨 Attention: 14300 🚨

As many of you know, one of our coworkers, Ron Weaver, has been courageously battling cancer and undergoing treatment.

The Women of Steel and Next Gen will be hosting a luncheon on May 13th to help raise funds for Ron’s upcoming round of treatment. Donations will go toward travel expenses and lost wages during this time.

Attention 14300 📣
Today we wrapped up our Coats for Kids fundraiser by delivering the donations! Because of your kindness and support, 77 coats were given to Dewitt Elementary and 25 hoodies to Lynn Camp Middle School — helping 102 kids stay warm this winter.

This community showed up in a big way, and we’re so grateful. Thank you all for making a real difference!

🚨 Attention USW-14300! 🚨
I want to take a moment to recognize the outstanding people I have the privilege of working with. Your compassion, teamwork, and commitment to supporting our community continue to impress.

Our original goal was to collect 75 coats for elementary students and 25 hoodies for middle school students. I’m excited to share that we exceeded that goal!
With the funds raised from our Hoodie/Hat sale, we purchased 72 coats and 25 hoodies, and with 5 additional coats donated by Shane Heather Davis, our total reached 77 coats.

If anyone would still like to donate a coat, you can bring it to Kim Anders, Luann Taylor-Rush,Gary Swafford or Lonny Mcmichael.

Thank you for showing what can be accomplished when we work together. Union Strong. 🙌🧥

Thanks to your incredible support, we sold 89 hoodies, 46 hats, and raised a total of $1,262 to purchase coats for local kids! 🧥

A huge shoutout to Michele Swafford and Debra Scott from the Whitehouse and also Shane Heather Davis their generous cash donations — we appreciate you so much.

We have already started ordering coats, and the goal is to have everything wrapped up by this weekend. We’re aiming for 100 coats, just like last year. Prices have gone up, but were committed to doing everything to hit that mark.

Anyone who wants to buy coats directly — you can drop them off in the breakroom anytime.

We’ll keep everyone updated as we get closer to the final total.

USW Next Gen is excited to announce that we’ll be selling custom hats now through November 21st! All proceeds will go directly toward our Coats for Kids fundraiser — helping keep local children warm this winter.

Thanks to the incredible support from our recent shirt sale, we were able to raise enough funds to purchase 100 backpacks for local students. Each backpack will be filled with essential supplies and will be distributed between Keavy Elementary and Camp Ground Elementary.
