Some of our Available cats at the Jones County Animal Shelter are shown.
There are approximately 40 cats and kittens at the shelter at this time. There are no available kennels at this time. Some of the kennels are a bit crowded but the solution is adoption, rescue, or euthanasia. We certainly don’t want to see any cats lose their lives for space.
IF YOU CAN’T ADOPT, PLEASE CONSIDER “Sponsoring a kitten for adoption.” The cost is $110 which covers everything the cat needs. If you want to sponsor a cat, go to the “Jones County Animal Services” website and follow the LINKS.

🐾Thanks to all of the volunteers from ❤️Rock on Rescue ❤️that tirelessly worked the adoption event this past Saturday at Ace of Gray. They helped pick up shelter dogs, transport foster dogs, keep dogs walked and watered, answered questions from potential adopters. 🐶🦴While we are a little disappointed with only adopting out one dog, that is one less dog that becomes a statistic and one more dog that has found a loving home. Thanks to the family that is giving sweet Tatum a home of her own! Thanks to 🧰Ace of Gray🔨 for allowing us to set up at your store and to those of you that made a donation.

Next stop… The Jones County Lions Club Fair. 🎡Adoptable dogs will be there every night to hopefully find their loving home as well! 🏡
🔥🔥🔥Tatum has been ADOPTED🔥🔥💙

🔥🔥🔥GUS has been ADOPTED 🔥🔥🔥URGENT!! Shelter is out of space and Gus is next on euthanasia list!! His adoption is sponsored so no adoption fee! He’s out of time! Someone please give this precious guy a home!!

⭐️⭐️UPDATE!!! Thanks to Stephanie Galyean, Gus is now sponsored! This means that Gus’s adoption fee has been paid (his neuter, all vaccines, worming, flea/tick and microchip is all covered).

PLEASE someone give Gus the home he deserves! 🏡🏡

💙Gus is one of the longest residents at the shelter, which makes this poor guy more vulnerable. His sister has already been adopted and he is still waiting for his new home too!
🏡Can anyone please step up and offer to sponsor Gus’s adoption? Or better yet, give him a loving home?
🐾Please share Gus so he isn’t another statistic!
