Gold Country Animal Clinic’s Wellness Clinic will be closed on Sunday, June 21, so our team can celebrate Father’s Day with their families.

We’ll be back the following Sunday with our regular walk-in hours: Noon to 4 pm.

Liam and Sam are 3 month old brothers who would love to be adopted together! Consider adopting this pair from Wayward Journey at Friends of Grass Valley Animal Control Shelter. 🎉 The grand opening of our wellness clinic was a huge success! We helped 26 animals with vaccines, parasite prevention, and microchips. Thank you to everyone who came in to provide care for your animals and thank you to our paid staff and volunteers for all your hard work!

Wellness clinics are every Sunday from 12-4 on a walk-in basis, first come-first served.

Our Wellness Clinic starts today! We'll be open Sundays from 12 to 4 pm, offering affordable preventive care to help keep your pets happy and healthy.

We are growing our team! We have an incredible Registered Vet Tech who works hard every day to help animals in our community. Ashley has been working in high-volume spay/neuter and shelter medicine for 16 years and we are so incredibly lucky to have her skills and experience on the team!

We are looking to hire an RVT who is eager to work in a fast paced environment supporting with surgery prep. Ashley will train our new RVT to ensure their success, so even if you don't have a ton of experience, we can teach the right person!

June is National Microchipping Month! A microchip is one of the simplest ways to help a lost pet find their way home. If your pet is already chipped, now is a great time to make sure your contact info is up to date with your pet’s microchip registry.
