Granville-Tolland Dollars For Scholars The Granville-Tolland Dollars for Scholars® was established June 4, 1974.

The Granville-Tolland Dollars for Scholars' mission is to promote scholarship, community involvement and leadership among the undergraduate college students of Granville and Tolland through financial support for their education. Since its inception, our chapter has awarded over $200,000 in financial aid to deserving students from our two towns. The annual sum of financial aid awarded has increased

from $4,355 to over $26,000 a year. As an affiliate of Scholarship America®, the Granville-Tolland Dollars for Scholars is a member of a nationwide network of community-based, volunteer-run Dollars for Scholars chapters. Each chapter has the same mission - to raise funds in their local community to support local residents in pursuing a college education. The network of all chapters throughout the United States is nationally based under our affiliate, Scholarship America, of Saint Peter, MN.

Did you know?

We have expanded our applicant qualifications! In previous years applicants had to be full-time undergraduate students. Now part time students AND those working towards post-graduate degrees can apply for a scholarship! Apply here: granville-tolland.dollarsforscholars.org

We still have a 5 award cap (an individual can only receive an award from us at most five times). And as in the past, certificate and trade-based programs count as long as the program is accredited. (Don't know if your program is accredited? We can help figure it out!) Applications due May 1st.
