The 2026 Empty Bowls Project will take place on Monday, October 12th! This year, the event will once again be held in the Pavilion building at the Josephine County Fairgrounds. This important event, held in partnership with Options for Southern Oregon and the Josephine County Food Bank raises vital funds to help address food insecurity and hunger in Josephine County.

Su***de prevention starts with being willing to talk, listen, and help. Applied Su***de Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a two-day, interactive workshop designed to give participants the skills and confidence to recognize when someone may be at risk for su***de and respond with compassion.

We have two upcoming ASIST workshops

When
*September 10th & 11th (8:30 AM- 4:30 PM both days)
*October 27th & 28th (8:30 AM- 4:30 PM both days)

Where: Both workshops are in-person at Options' Admin Building (1215 SW G Street).

Fee: Registration is $85 (some scholarships available) and lunch and snacks are included!

You don't have to be a mental health professional to make a difference. ASIST is open to anyone who wants to learn how to support someone who may be experiencing thoughts of su***de. Together, we can build a su***de safer community!
