Weight limit lowered this week!

*** Attention Grant’s Lick, KY area. ***

The transportation department lowered the weight limit on the bridge at Boyd Road and Clay Ridge Road. A new Ford explorer weighs about 5,000 lbs (2.5 ton) empty. The average heavy duty crew cab truck is 4-5 tons.

Today’s the day to celebrate our community of Grant’s Lick! Join us for the 225th Homecoming Celebration today with many activities throughout the day.

Signs are being put in the ground today around Grant’s Lick. All the signs will be in place by Saturday morning for the self-guided driving tour of historical locations in the community.
