Just a reminder...Spring Soccer Registration ends on February 20th. The Boys and Girls club has asked us to please have all Grangeville kids please sign up as going to GEMS as the school even if a homeschooled student, or going to another local school.

It's that time of year for Spring Soccer Registration is now until February 20, 2026.
Practices will be in Grangeville, and all games will be Saturdays in Lewiston/Clarkston fields.
Games played March 14th-April-25th
Co-ed teams K-8th grade
Minimum 6 games
$75/per player-$40 BGC membership fee waived at sign up

Just a reminder from Tony Fecht regarding Futsal:
Please message him if you have any questions.

The first practice for this session of Futsal starts tomorrow. Practices will be on Fridays from 500-630pm at GEMS gym. I don't have a list of who is registered yet so please spread the word to kids who are signed up or interested.
I have had a few people reach out to me about a team in the 9/10 division but currently we don't have a coach for that age. If someone wants to coach that age please let me know.

Calling all soccer players/parents,
This year Lewiston Parks and Rec put together a futsal league for U14, U12, and U10 ages. Basically is 5v5 soccer played on a basketball court. We just finished the first session and the next session starts in January. Practices are on Fri evenings starting Jan 2nd and games are on Sat, in Lewiston starting Jan 31st. I would like to take 2 teams in the U14 division and if we get enough interest, we can get a team in the U12 division as well. Its $50 per player and the season is 5 weeks long. The price includes a jersey.
I believe sign ups are open and if you sign up please let me know so I can start building teams.

Also at last night's board meeting we made a few role changes, our wonderful secretary Catrina Rioux was voted in as President! She has faithfully served on the board for 3 years. Thank you Catrina for stepping up!
Our teams scheduler and creator Cami Rae Strasser took on the role of secretary, and we also welcomed a new face to our board, please welcome Denise Griffith to the GYS Board, she will be our new teams scheduler. We are all excited for these new changes ❤️⚽️

Melissa has been on the board for 6 years, and has served faithfully and selflessly for 4 of those years as our president. We will miss her and her calm yet firm demeanor.
