On December 5, 2025, Yessika’s husband, Aleiddy, was detained by ICE, leaving their young children without their father. Yessika is now unemployed and struggling to cover basic needs while fighting for Aleiddy’s release and legal appeal.

My immigration process has not been easy. Like many, I left my country with the hope of finding a better future and supporting my family. Along the way I faced difficult moments, uncertainty, and fear, but I never lost faith.
Thank God, today I can say that I was released in Detroit, Michigan. At that very important moment in my life, I received support from the organization Raíces Migrantes, who were with me from the very first moment. Please help Heriberto and his family if you can. His work helped with housing but now they are telling his family they cannot stay since he was taken! Please donate and share to help this family get some stability and have some funds to pay for his release if needed.

We can finally share where you can donate to our organization! Currently we are in a transition period but every donation will mostly go to commissary for the detainees and with any fees while we complete our filing for 501c3. Thank you everyone for your continued support and patience as we're navigating this new journey 💞
