It takes a village. And this year, our village was bigger than ever.

Our 2025 Mitten Foundation Annual Report is a peek into a historic year for our organization—one that wouldn't have been possible without overwhelming community support.

New partners. Returning partners. Individual gifts. Group gifts. Volunteers. Friends. Family. Sponsors. $13 donations. $2,500 donations.

All of these and more played a role in the $66,000 in community impact we were able to provide for our Westside neighbors in 2025.

Happy New Year, all!

We’d like to start off our 2026 by taking pause to recognize the incredible generosity that made our 2025 Holiday Grocery Giveaway with FOOD HUGS possible.

From the strong support and contributions of families and individuals in our community who heard about our cause and gave selflessly, to those who gave in memory of a cherished loved one, to our friends at NALC Branch 56 who boosted our effort with a generous donation — our hearts are full with gratitude.

Together, your thoughtful donations allowed for our biggest giveaway yet — over $7000 in critical holiday relief! Week after week, store after store, we saw so many faces light up with smiles and holiday cheer upon learning about your gift. We are so thankful for community. We couldn’t do this kind of work without you.

We are kicking off the holiday week with our 2025 Grocery Giveaway Fundraiser TONIGHT!

From open to close today—Monday, November 24th— 50% of all food sales (dine-in or carryout ordered directly through the restaurant) will be donated to Mitten Foundation, Inc. and FOOD HUGS to underwrite FREE HOLIDAY GROCERIES for our neighbors!
