Well friends, it looks like my hair is staying brown (until next year) 😉!

While we didn't quite reach our fundraising goal of $2,250, I am incredibly grateful to share that together we raised over $1,600 for our justice-impacted youth! Which means 3 students can attend YFC Camp completely free of charge!!

That is definitely worth celebrating!🥳

What do you think…can we get every kid to camp by THIS WEEKEND?!

We only have $650 left to reach our goal of sending 5 system-impacted youth to YFC Camp!

One of my favorite things a student has ever said to me was:

"Ms. Heaven, every time I try something new, it's with you."

Moments like that remind me how important it is to create opportunities for young people to experience new things and make lasting memories. But the truth is, I only get to provide those experiences because of all of your generosity.

We're so close. Will you help us close the gap and get a few more students to camp?

Whose that girl with the pink hair...? It could be me! 👀

My goal is to send 5 system-impacted youth to YFC Camp this summer! To make that happen, I need to raise $2,250 for camp scholarships, so I’m upping the ante…!

If we get all 5 scholarships covered by May 31st, my hair goes PINK 💗

Summer camp can be life-changing for students. It’s a place where they build community, grow in their faith, and experience encouragement and belonging. But for many families, the cost of camp is a real barrier.

We never want finances to keep a student from an opportunity that could change their life.

LETS SEND EVERY KID TO CAMP!

In 2024, we brought a group of 4 teen girls to YFC camp who were on probation. They had never experienced a summer camp, and most of them had never even left the city of Grand Rapids! They had a blast waterskiing, meeting new friends, burying me in the sand (🙄), and even facing a few fears!

One of my favorite memories of that summer was watching Penny, wrestle with her faith, and her past, and ultimately accept Jesus as the savior of her life!

Starting right now, you can be a part of helping another youth like Penny, attend YFC Camp this summer!

There is a Children’s Business Fair coming up THIS SATURDAY at The Community Church in Ada. It will be from 10a-12p. A few girls in a local court program have been working hard to get ready for this event!!

Camp Season is Upon Us!!

On average, 53% of our students need financial assistance to attend YFC trips. This year, we hope to bring our largest group to camp. That means that we need 134 scholarships this year!

Imagine the joy a teen experiences when they hear that someone has gifted them a scholarship to attend YFC Camp! This is often a pivotal example of Jesus's love that makes a profound impact.
