Lakewood WC, in conjunction with the Grand Rapids Area Wrestling League, is excited to host the Valhalla Duals; a fast-paced team dual tournament for K–6th grade wrestlers!

📅 Saturday, January 24th, 2025

📍 Lakewood High School – Aux Gym

This event is all about team competition, high energy, and giving young wrestlers the opportunity to compete, learn, and grow together in a dual-meet format.

🏆 What a Night for GRAWL Wrestling 🏆

Last night marked the first night of our GRAWL season, and it was nothing short of incredible.

In just 2 hours, we had 1,000+ kids step onto the mat
📍 across 9 different locations
🤼‍♂️ representing dozens of clubs
🔥 learning, growing, and working hard together

That’s building communities and champions.

Countless first-time beginners, alongside seasoned comptitors, the energy in every room was electric. Kids competing, learning, and building confidence. Coaches pouring into their athletes. Parents filling the stands. Communities coming together.

This doesn’t happen without an unbelievable amount of behind-the-scenes work, and we’re incredibly grateful for:
• Our host clubs
• Our volunteers and officials
• Our coaches
• And the families who make nights like this possible

This is why we do it.
This is what youth sports should look like.

What. A. Day. 💪🤼‍♂️🔥

This past Friday we held our annual GRAWL Youth Wrestling Camp at Cornerstone University—and it was a massive success! Over 130 youth wrestlers from across West Michigan packed the mats for a day of learning, growing, and competing.

A huge thank you to Cornerstone University Men's Wrestling for graciously hosting us and helping make this event possible. Your support for youth athletics is making a real difference!

To everyone who joined us—coaches, volunteers, families, and most of all, the wrestlers—thank you for pouring into the sport and showing up with energy and heart.
