As the snowbirds return from their warmer winter destinations, Loon Country Quilters will also resume their regular guild meetings. April 21, 2026 will be our first regular meeting at Grand Village, Hale Lake Road, Grand Rapids, MN at 6:00 pm. At this meeting, new memberships and renewal of past memberships will be taken for 2026. This process will continue at the May 19th meeting, same location. Dues are $20 for the year. Our guild uses the Activities Room for our meetings. Enter on the east side of the building where the canopy is. Sign in (required by the facility). There is a small table just inside the doorway to the left with a tablet of paper to use and name tags are there also. Walk straight down the hallway. The Activity Room is on the right.
There will be snacks/appetizers and water provided.
Our presenter is Sharon Resvick, the 2025 MN Quilter of the Year, from Plymouth MN, is a good friend of Lynn Lovett (Co-chair of LCQ) and Her presentation is "Threads of Time". She has created a series of small quilts to represent how quilting has evolved since the 1800's-today. Sharon will show some of her award winning quilts.
Hopeful to start of the LCQ meetings with strong attendance and participation.
Happy Quilting!!!!
