During the late 1960s, a few kids wearing "black cats" as we called them (black Chuck Taylor Converse tennis shoes), grew up on the basketball courts and baseball fields of Wilcox Park, St. Thomas & the Eastown area of Grand Rapids where we began developing what would become lifelong friendships. Each year we gather in early June to celebrate the spirit of friendship and camaraderie with a golf ou
ting. This small group of friends has grown into a group of nearly 100 friends and friends of friends. In an effort to "give something back", in 1996 we began raising money for worthwhile local charities. We are excited to continue to make a difference in the community through the donations and sponsorship of local individuals and businesses, and appreciate any consideration to help us in this effort!
