Today marks the official start to a new program Tier 1 Woodcraft will be working on. .honor.guard is a small way for us to give back to the military and first responder communities that protect us each and every day. Our intent is to be able to provide heirloom quality display cases to the families of service members who have passed so the flag can be passed from generation to generation.
We will be seeking out veteran and first responder organizations from all over the country to team up with. If you know of any, please reach out to them/us so we can get the ball rolling!
So how are we going to do this?
From this day forward, a portion of the proceeds from all sales will be dedicated strictly to Project Honor Guard.
We will also be offering a spot on the website for donations and to buy PHG gear. 100% of the profits from these will be used for the project.
We are also asking for your help to get the word out. We are not spending any money for advertising in an effort to keep our overhead as low as possible and maximize our impact. Social media, the page(s) on the Tier 1 website, and your help through word-of-mouth advertising is what we are relying on to make this a success.
We know this is a very small way to give back, but it's just the beginning. We have several other ideas in the works also, but this is just the first step of many to make an impact. Thank you, sincerely, for your support thus far. We couldn't do this without all of you!
