Forx Sugar Beaters Your friendly, local roller derby team valuing inclusiveness, competition, hard work, and community! And keep your eyes and ears peeled for our coming podcast!

We are a DIY skating league - By the skaters and for the skaters! We practice year round and our season currently runs from May to September. Most of our home bouts are held at the Blue Line Club in Grand Forks, ND. If you are interested in joining Forx Roller Derby, you may contact us on this page. If you are not sure about being a skater, we have open positions for referees and non-skating officials as well as many opportunities to work with the league by helping us out with our bouts. Feel free to contact us on this page to find out more info about how you can get involved!

Happiest of birthdays to the derby player who always has a book recommendation ready (beware), works out at unholy hours of the day, and will show up for her friends anytime, anywhere. Help us wish Daddy a happy birthday! This year has been a tough one, as you all may recall, but Daddy pushed through. We are hopeful that this next year is kinder for her. 💜

With the school year in full swing, did you find out your kids outgrew last year’s soccer cleats? Or maybe you decided to join the softball league. Either way, Play It Again Sports can fit you with the gently used gear you need at a fraction of the cost. FSB players have often found bits and pieces of gear with Play It Again, and we are thrilled to have them sponsor us again this year.

What a way to end our season! We had the pleasure of hosting UND’s Society of Women Engineers (and a few other interested folks) for a mini skating lesson for our last practice of the season. Engaging with our community is one of our favorite things to do. Thank you to our friends, family, and fans for another wonderful derby season. We can’t wait to come back to you next spring! 💜
