Grand Forks Community Pajama Drive

•FINAL COUNT 8️⃣9️⃣2️⃣! 🎉

That’s a wrap on another successful year for this Community Pajama Drive Project! Thanks to those that utilized the Dakota Dental, Pediatric Partners or Performance Chiropractic drop sites and to St. Paul's Lutheran Church for collecting too, as they were all collected on Monday.

This project is only a success because of everyone who donates to help those in our community. It starts with 1 pair and grows from there. Thank you to every single one of you who donate pajamas or money! I do have a little money left and some Kohls cash and I plan to put that towards undergarments for the Grand Forks County Social Service clients as that is a need at this time.

I spent a part of my day yesterday sorting and boxing up pajamas for delivery and they are all boxed up and will be delivered soon! We are going to give lots of love and bring smiles to many people! 🎄♥️

Been a busy 24 hours in pajama land!

Shout to Red River for the 51 pairs of pajamas and $550 to go shopping for pajamas! Thanks to their funds, I was able to go shopping for the remaining needed sizes for The Anne Carlsen Center without digging through the hundreds of donated pairs and that was so helpful! I got them all sorted, all 216 pairs, and they are boxed up and being picked up this afternoon!

I do still have 3 sites to collect from so that number will grow yet!

Thank you to EVERYONE who supports this project to help those in need in our community! YOU are amazing!

Happy Sunday! A little sorting has been going on in one of the rooms that houses pajamas in my house. I should have all of The Anne Carlsen families boxed up later today! The sizes are sorted and now the picking of sizes in this sort begins!

The Lake Agassiz Mustangs just dropped off their pajamas and they collected 131 pairs! Thank you to all of the students and their families and the staff for helping support this project! YOU guys keep showing up and help make a difference! ♥️🎄

I have been busy sorting pajamas for The Anne Carlsen families and hope to have that list ready to go for distribution on Monday!

The BIG BLACK TOTE will be out today and I will be collecting more pajamas later today, tomorrow and Monday! Stay tuned for the number to climb….I even get to go do some more shopping!

Thanks to everyone who donates to support those in our community! We ALL have the power to make a difference!

The Discovery Trailblazers collected 8️⃣1️⃣ pairs of pajamas and they were picked up by some great elves yesterday afternoon! Thank you to the students, their families and staff for supporting those in need and to the elves!

The storm has thrown off some collecting from sites and I’ll be collecting more tomorrow and Monday! We are not done yet!

The Century Elementary School Patriots are the school that has been taking part in this pajama drive the longest! Thank you to all of the students and their families and to the staff that donate as well!

Red River High School students held their annual Dodging for Jammies Tournament last night and Kerry showed up to capture the fun that was had!

So I ended up sick most of last week, BUT I was finally feeling better and I went out on Sunday and did some shopping at JCPenny’s and got some of the sizes on my shopping list!

The BIG BLACK TOTE is out through Saturday this week AND we start collecting from the schools that participated and some of the drop sites later this week as well!

I can’t wait to watch this number grow!

Happy Saturday! As we kick off the final week of collecting, I want to thank everyone for helping grow this project and for supporting those in need for 15 years now!

The BIG BLACK TOTE will be out everyday through next Saturday!

This is a BIG week of collecting and I also have some shopping to do yet. Red River will also be holding their Dodging for Jammie’s Dodgeball event on Wednesday at 7:00pm.

Sorting and Boxing up all the pajamas can be a task, but having just the perfect size boxes to pack them in makes it so much better!
