Good Samaritan Automotive Ministries We actively work with community outreach organizations as well as local churches who have identified local people with car repair needs.

To show the love of God by providing assistance to people in need in Hood County through help in repairing their vehicles, as well as accepting donated vehicles which can refurbished and passed on to those in need of reliable transportation. A retired Master Mechanic with 35 years of experience along with his wife, founded Good Samaritan Automotive Ministries as a way to use their gifts to show Go

d’s love to people in distress in a practical and unique way. These agencies vet clients for us through a referral process. We don’t accept clients directly. Clients work with these agencies to rebuild their lives, get help in coping with various personal crisis such as health problems or abuse. All work is provided through volunteers so there is no labor cost involved in repairs. We use donated funds to pay for the cost of parts unless the client or the referring agency is able to help offset those costs.

We need your help!
Good Samaritan Automotive Ministries is
501-C3 non profit that does car repairs for people in need. We also take in donated cars , make the needed repairs, and give them out to people in need. However, with the high price of used cars these days, we are not getting as many cars donated. Our wait list keeps growing, especially single moms. Because of this, we have been given a grant to buy cars to give away to people in need.
If you or some you know is looking to sell a car in the $2,000 to $3,000 range, please contact us. You can also donate a vehicle and get a full fairmarket tax deduction. We are not concerned with hail damage. The people we help don't care what it looks like they just need a reliable vehicle to get to work. We can do windshield or glass repair. We can also make other needed repairs to make sure the car is safe and reliable.

You can make real difference in someone's life!
Good Samaritan Automotive Ministry currently has
4 single moms and two veterans on our waiting list for a car. Transportation is the greatest need in helping these people become self sufficient.
If you or someone you know has a car they are no longer using please give us a call. Good Samaritan can make any needed repairs to the vehicle to make sure it is safe and reliable transportation.

Are you looking for a way to make an impact on someone's life here in Hood County? You can help us have a direct impact on people's ability to be self-sustaining by either putting their vehicle back on the road or putting them in reliable transportation.

Ways to Help. Donate your car you no longer use or if you are a Retired Mechanic, you could help us 1 day a week or 1 day a month, whatever you have we would love your help.
