π©΅ Mental Health Awareness Month. Women Veterans, we stand with You!
We stand with women whose stories are too often silenced β survivors of abuse, women in crisis, and women veterans carrying invisible wounds.
Behind every statistic is a woman fighting to survive emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and physically. Trauma does not discriminate. Abuse, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and crisis affect women of every age, background, culture, and walk of life. π
Women are nearly twice as likely as men to develop PTSD, and many women veterans face especially high rates due to military sexual trauma. Survivors of domestic violence often carry lasting emotional wounds long after the abuse ends, including:
β’ Anxiety
β’ Depression
β’ Isolation
β’ Lifelong emotional struggles
At Launching Genesis, we believe healing begins with: β¨
π‘οΈ Safety
π€ Support
π Dignity
π
Hope
Mental health matters.
Trauma-informed care matters.
Safe housing matters.
Being heard matters. ποΈ
To every woman silently battling fear, trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, or the emotional aftermath of abuse:
πΈ You are not forgotten.
πΈ You are not weak.
πΈ You are worthy of healing.
This Mental Health Awareness Week, we remain committed to breaking the stigma surrounding trauma and advocating for women who deserve a new beginning. π
Because survival is only the beginning β healing is the mission. β¨
