🩵 Mental Health Awareness Month. Women Veterans, we stand with You!

We stand with women whose stories are too often silenced — survivors of abuse, women in crisis, and women veterans carrying invisible wounds.

Behind every statistic is a woman fighting to survive emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and physically. Trauma does not discriminate. Abuse, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and crisis affect women of every age, background, culture, and walk of life. 💔

Women are nearly twice as likely as men to develop PTSD, and many women veterans face especially high rates due to military sexual trauma. Survivors of domestic violence often carry lasting emotional wounds long after the abuse ends, including:
• Anxiety
• Depression
• Isolation
• Lifelong emotional struggles

Well y’all… it finally happened. Two of our founding members took Launching Genesis all the way from Young County to NEW YORK CITY 🌆🗽 — rocking their Launching Genesis shirts and spreading the word like pros!

Are we a small nonprofit? Yes.
Are we slightly out of our element? Also yes.
Are we talking to people in NYC like we belong there? ABSOLUTELY. 💁‍♀️💼

From sidewalks to subways, we’re sharing the mission of Launching Genesis — building strong foundations, creating opportunities, and helping people move forward in life with purpose right here in GRAHAM TEXAS🛠️✨

Difficulties in life and unexpected trials can feel overwhelming — but at Launching Genesis, you are not alone. ✝️

Launching Genesis is a Christ-centered nonprofit organization located right here in Graham, TX, dedicated to supporting young women in crisis.

Our mission is simple but life-changing: to provide safe, affordable, shared transitional housing for at-risk young women aging out of foster care, women veterans, and women facing difficult circumstances.

We also connect women with valuable local resources, mentorship, and support systems to help them rebuild, grow, and move toward stability and independence.

Right now, in our community, there are young women aging out of foster care, women veterans in crisis, and women escaping abuse who have nowhere safe to go.

🏠 No stable home.
💔 No support system.
❓ No clear path forward.

Launching Genesis exists to change that.

We are a faith-centered nonprofit providing safe, supervised independent living and transitional housing for women in crisis right here in Graham, TX.

Our mission is simple but powerful:
To help women break free from cycles of abuse, instability, and homelessness — and step into healing, independence, and purpose.
