Have you ever had one of those weeks that just comes together like magic?

Maybe you’re able to match all the socks 🧦 from the dryer.
Maybe you got the trash out on time.
Maybe your kids cleaned their room without being asked 😂❤️

We had that week!! New volunteers and returning volunteers who helped make over 500 meatballs!! We chopped, laughed, and were able to spread out, thanks to our new floors thanks to Impact Alamance ❤️❤️

Happy and fed clients and extra hands to make the workload lighter!! Thank you all so much.
For those of you on the fence, don’t be shy; give us a try. We can’t wait to meet you.

We wish to thank the following food donors for their generosity: Second Harvest Food Bank in Greensboro, SAFE in Graham, Chick-fil-A and McDonalds in Mebane, Mountaire Farms in Siler City, Noel's Produce in Pittsboro, Sax Patch in Saxapahaw, the Garden of Concord, Burwell Farms, and other local farmers. Other ingredients were purchased using donated funds. Dessert is a pumpkin-raisin mini-loaf from Arna!

Adulting is hard. We get caught up in the day-to-day and end up not making time for ourselves or friends our family. We run ourselves ragged.

When was the last time you stopped and actually celebrated the good things in life? Did you take the time to have people over? To laugh? To giggle? To tell the people who mean the most to you that they do? When was the last time you treated yourself? When was the last time you made the decision to do something that brings you joy or to bring others joy?

Join us! Meet us Swepsonville United Methodist Church Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 9-12 a.m. while we create healthy meals to feed our 120 clients!! Our non-profit feeds clients living in Alamance County who are disabled 👩‍🦼‍➡️, without transportation, and who cannot cook for themselves.

Meal 1: Nacho Mamma’s Nachos, Corn 🌽 + Bean 🫘 Salad, Mixed Fruit 🍉
Meal 2: Sesame Chicken 🐓 on Rice 🍚, Tomato 🍅 + Cucumber 🥒 Salad, Cookies 🍪🍪
Meal 3: Navy Bean Soup 🍜, Bananas 🍌
