Yes, my brain is stewing on what to do once we heal him up again. It will never be an immediate re-release. Maybe 4th time is Theo’s charm? Please donate so we can get him to the vet when we’re able to finally trap him. Not sure how long he’ll take this go around, but I’d like to start raising funds for his care. His life matters to us. ❤️‍🩹

She randomly started refusing our recall word (bacon) altogether when I’m using high reward treats (or anything, for that matter). I’ll move an inch and she’ll retreat, scared. I don’t actually try this anymore but am just showing you what is going on with recall (normally). Yes, my plan is to start over with her just on the couch and me sitting next to her with a treat and a clicker. 🥺 her fear is palpable. Makes me wonder how they coaxed them out of cages or if this is just an innate beagle trait. From what I know, beagles are notorious garbage pits (usually), and that is NOT Sadie. Most days I’m lucky if she’ll eat two meals a day!
