The Mercy Seat The Mercy Seat is a Christ-Centered long-term residential substance abuse program for women. We are located in the Southeast region of Alabama.

Their sacrifices helped pave the way for better working conditions, fairer hours, and the dignity and respect that every hardworking person deserves.

When we pause to remember the struggles and sacrifices of those who came before us, it gives us a much deeper appreciation for how this extra โ€œday offโ€ came to be.

Today, we honor the hardworking men and womenโ€”past and presentโ€”whose labor, dedication, and perseverance help build our communities and our country.

We officially have ๐ญ๐ฐ๐จ ๐ง๐ž๐ฐ ๐›๐ž๐š๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐ฅ ๐ฅ๐š๐๐ข๐ž๐ฌ who have come home to The Mercy Seat . ๐Ÿฉท

I say โ€œcome homeโ€ because that is exactly how we welcome our ladies when they first arrive: โ€œ๐–๐ž๐ฅ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ž ๐‡๐จ๐ฆ๐ž!โ€ โ€” followed by a big, loving hug. ๐Ÿค—

For many of our ladies, they havenโ€™t truly had a home in yearsโ€ฆ and for some, perhaps their entire lives.

Thatโ€™s what we want The Mercy Seat to be: a home for Godโ€™s precious daughters to come, rest, heal, grow, and discover the beautiful redemption that God has waiting for them. ๐Ÿฉท

๐“๐ก๐ž ๐Œ๐ž๐ซ๐œ๐ฒ ๐’๐ž๐š๐ญ in the Bible was a place to commune with God Himself โ€” a place to meet with Him and be in His presence.

It reminds me of the song we used to sing in church:

We are blessed to provide a home for our ladies that is clean, safe, beautiful, and comfortable, where their needs are met and where we get to witness true redemption unfold.
