🌟Honoring a True "Rainmaker" in Our Community! 🌟
We are proud to announce that former Recovery Options board member Michael J. Billoni will be honored at our upcoming Peer Impact Celebration!
Known across Western New York as a master storyteller, veteran journalist, and community advocate, Mike built a legendary career on creative vision and dedicated public service. From his early days as a sports writer for The Tonawanda News and The Buffalo Courier-Express to his iconic run as the "P.T. Barnum of Minor League Baseball" with the Buffalo Bisons, Mike has always known how to bring people together.
Today, as a true "Rainmaker", someone whose influence sparks progress and ensures success, he continues to give back through his family’s business, Colvin Cleaners. Mike organizes publicity for Coats 4 Kids and Gowns for Proms, along with supporting local nonprofits like St. Luke’s Mission of Mercy. Mike was a critical component of our work into the Fruit Belt in Buffalo supporting the move and connecting the community to our service.
Mike is currently writing his autobiography, sharing his recovery journey following a near-fatal accident that forever changed his life. Decades later, he continues to navigate mental health challenges while remaining a champion for anti-stigma awareness in our community.
Join us as we celebrate Mike’s extraordinary career, resilience, and lifelong dedication to strengthening our community!
