Our cup is dirty and will continue that way if we rely on this world.
The same thing goes with trying to fight our sin without god.
Because just as a dirty cup can be made clean from an overflow of water poured into it…So we can be made clean from receiving what god can pour into us when we trust him🥹
Its through his overwhelming love and grace that we can be made clean. 🧼
Cleaner than anything we can accomplish on our own without Jesus!
Now it just depends on us and how much we know and trust that he can.
BECAUSE HE CAN!
Praise God!
Thank you Jesus!

This past Wednesday, we learned that it is by listening TO Jesus and not listening to things ABOUT Him, that we change and become more like Him. Listen TO the words He speaks as recorded in Scripture. The Sermon on the Mount. Matt 5:1-16

This past Wednesday we got together to worship Jesus. We received a word that Jesus doesn’t want us anxious and troubled about many things. He wants us to remove all distractions and choose the one thing that is necessary: to listen to him. He knows who we are and his desire is to heal & restore our souls.

Our new series on “Give thanks” has started. Pastor Guil walked us through the passage recorded in Luke 17:11-19. We learned that all received the blessings they asked for. But only ONE turned back, PRAISED and GAVE THANKS. It's never about the crowd, but it's about our individual response to what He does. Let’s demonstrate our faith through grateful acts! The pictures here show individuals stepping forward to share their what they’re grateful to God for. Gratitude is infectious!

This past Wednesday we got together to learn what true worship means. To worship means to ascribe worth, to recognize the value of something. We know that our culture “worships so many temporary fashion and trends. However, Pastor Guil encouraged us to “worship”, to ascribe worth, to recognize the value of things that have eternal weight. Our God, the creator of the heavens and the earth and everything in them. He desserves to be praised. Our God, creator of all things, our maker, the one who provides us with good things for our enjoyment, he is the one who truly deserves our worship.

Ascribe to the LORD, O heavenly beings, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness. Psalm 29:1-2

It was very inspiring to learn how the good news of Jesus is impacting the nations. Grant challenged us pray that the good news to be proclaimed to those who haven’t heard yet. And also that we will respond to God’s call to make disciples of all nations. The Holy Spirit can take us further than our eyes can see.
