Our motto is One at a time, Leave none behind. We have 3 programs in place to assist cats: TNR, Barn Relocation and Adoption. TNR is a comprehensive and humane management plan to reduce the free-roaming cat population in the long term. These cats are humanely trapped, evaluated, vaccinated, ear-tipped and sterilized by a licensed veterinarian. Catsnip Etc knows how important your free-roaming cat
colony is. We are dedicated to helping you care for your colony through education and trapping/transporting assistance. We use special traps designed to humanely trap the cat, then we immediately cover the cage to help reduce their stress level while traveling to and from the vet. Our trained volunteers understand and know what it takes to help the caretakers and their colonies. Barn Relocation Program- occasionally while doing TNR we come across feral cats in unsafe situations that cannot be returned to their area after being fixed. Our Barn Relocation Program temporarily houses the feral cats until a permanent barn or warehouse home can be found. There is no charge to adopt the spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped barn cats. Catsnip Etc also provides all necessary equipment needed for the acclimation process. Adoption Program-While doing TNR we come across friendly cats and kittens that would prefer indoor only homes. These cats enter our adoption program. We have an adoption room located inside Pet Supplies Plus in Goshen and foster homes to keep these cats until adopted. Our adoption fee is $80. The cats are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, dewormed, tested for leukemia and fiv, and microchipped.
