Young Buck Outdoors

Our Mission & Programs

Young Buck Outdoors was designed to create an adaptive environment where children and parents can both benefit from sharing a day, weekend, or week of hunting, fishing, and outdoor adventure. Our events are fully funded and hosted throughout the U.S. Kids are partnered with experienced hunters and guided by a parent or guardian. They learn proper hunting techniques, natural resource conservation, and hunting safety education. Each event is personalized to fit the needs and preferences of the participants.

Goals:
Expose children, who may not otherwise have the opportunity, to hunting, fishing, and the great outdoors.

Encourage lifelong outdoor participation by developing skills in both youth and their parents.

Strengthen family relationships and local communities through shared outdoor experiences.

Provide education on hunter ethics, game identification, and hunting safety.

Promote hunting and fishing as natural, responsible, and ethical outdoor activities.

Foster a love for outdoor recreation that leads to lifelong skills and hobbies.

Special Kids Hunting Program

The Special Kids Hunting Program allows children with special needs or learning disabilities, along with their families, to experience the thrill of the hunt. This program is designed to introduce these kids and their parents to the sport of hunting in a safe, encouraging, and supportive environment. Participants receive one-on-one guidance from seasoned hunters while enjoying a unique outdoor experience.

Goals:
Increase awareness of the capabilities of children with disabilities in outdoor recreation.

Strengthen relationships between children with disabilities and their parents.

Empower disadvantaged youth to experience personal growth through outdoor adventures.

Encourage outdoor recreation as a therapeutic and enriching activity.

Promote positive social interactions within communities.

Develop lifelong outdoor skills and appreciation for nature.

Take a Warrior Hunting Program

The Take a Warrior Hunting Program is dedicated to supporting military personnel and their families, particularly those who have served our country. By creating a community-based outdoor experience through hunting and fishing, we aim to provide veterans and their families with opportunities to reconnect, heal, and enjoy the outdoors together. Some of our events include a fully funded, week-long hunting or fishing trip for a veteran and their child.

Goals:
Rebuild family connections and strengthen relationships after military service.

Support positive social interactions between veterans and the civilian world.

Encourage outdoor recreation as a therapeutic outlet for healing and well-being.

Empower veterans to use outdoor adventures as a tool for personal growth and advocacy.

Why Young Buck Outdoors?

At Young Buck Outdoors, we believe in the power of the great outdoors to inspire, teach, and heal. Whether it’s introducing a child to their first hunt, giving kids with special needs the chance to experience nature, or helping a veteran reconnect with their family, our mission is to make the outdoors accessible to all.
