❤️⚾️ We didn’t even have a chance to introduce our October recipient before the dinner sold out.❤️⚾️

We announced Johanna Pryor at last night’s Helping One Woman Goodyear dinner, and in less than eight hours, every seat for October 21 was filled. Thank you for showing up for Johanna and her family. As previously shared, the dinner is sold out, but a waitlist is available. If you’d like to attend, please add your name to the waitlist.

We also want you to get to know Johanna and her family.

Johanna was born and raised in the West Valley. She and her husband, Matt, have been married for 19 years and are the proud parents of three boys: Easton, 18, Jax, 16, and Nash, 13. They are a baseball-loving family whose favorite memories include time together at the ball field.

Johanna has taught in the Litchfield School District for 22 years. She loves her students and the connections she has built with them and their families.

On August 17, Johanna and Matt’s youngest son, Nash, was tragically hit and killed by a car while riding his e-bike. Their family is heartbroken and learning to navigate life without him, one hour and one day at a time. Johanna shares that their faith, Psalm 34:18, and the love of family, friends, and this community have been a source of strength.

Our HOW Goodyear community is here to rally around Johanna and her family as they grieve the irreplaceable loss of Nash. Friends, family, and neighbors coming together to surround one woman with love and support, that’s the heart of Helping One Woman.
