Thank you so much to SCCD & the local community for supporting the 2025 Match Day Hospital Dietary Services $2,500 donations.

We have attached the hard working staff and all the items they were able replace.

Badly needed Frost Free ice cream Freezer; new serving trays replacing 20 year old trays & pulling & prepping trays (in multiple colors), larger coolers and bags for daily meals on wheels for community needs, and a large mobile cart for transporating sundry items. They are so excited and so are we!!!

The Auxiliary is selling Easter Baskets for all. Our attaached Flyer has all the information, so please drop by and you will be amazed at these beautiful baskets. Adults and kids alike will really enjoy these!

The Auxiliary hosted and served Valentines treats to the Hospital employees ( Connie Soellner & Jan Weis).
We wanted to brag about the food services team on what a terrific job they did with the presentation of the goodies!

We are adding in more volunteer hours by serving a snack cart to hospital employees. Thaank you Wilma, Linda, Terry and others to date.

We'reworking toward once or twice a week to serve our wonderful employees!

Starting next week, we are filling the Wednesday spot weekly. thanks to all our volunterrs!

DEFINITIONS & RECOMMITMENT Happy New Year

Hospital Auxiliaries are a specialized group of volunteers who are dedicated to promoting and advancing the welfare of a healthcare facility and its community.

Hospital Auxiliary Volunteers main focus is to complete Volunteer tasks for the betterment of the hospital and community, while their 2nd focus is Fundraising for hospital-wide improvements and providing Scholarships to community Senior High School students in the field of medicine.

We typically manage and staff hospital gift shops. We organize special events like bake sales, holiday boutiques, and linen sales; as well as offer yearly scholarships to local students

We serve as ambassadors between the hospital and the community, fostering goodwill and public awareness.

Linda Rummel, Jan Weis, Val & Randy Gavin attended the 2026 Hospital Appreciation dinner (prime rib dinner was amazing!) Served by Traditions.

We took advantage of fun props and the photo booth. We visited with several hospital and Board members as well. Enjoyed dancing and all around fun.

Thank you to the hospoital senior staff for this great night!

The latest updates are as follows:

Match Day collected $2,300 from donors for the Kitchen equipment (largest purchase is frost free freezer). We do not know the match portion from SCCF yet. Our goal was set at $2,500

The December 6th Christmas event was a great success! Below figures are rounded
We raised $682 from the Bake Sale!!
We sold $776 from product purchases (net sales)
Total collected including taxes was $1,529

Thank you so much for all the donations; including cash, paintings, several homemade Christmas products, and the BAKED GOODS. We appreciate all your hard work to make this event very special and successful.

December 6th Auxiliary Event Update

A great big thank you to everyone who provided handmade gifts, baked goods, money donations, and their time!

Preliminary results from the the Chirstmas event and bake sale totaled just over $1,500. This will fund the remaining 2nd semester scholarships and have leftover for our next hospital funded project.

Our Auxiliary volunteers were the best helpers ever coordinating, setting up, selling, collecting money, tearing down and providing baked goods out of this world. It was a stellar day.

You are the most giving and wonderful community. I am so proud to be a part of it.
