The Duck Derby is this Saturday!! Make sure you don’t miss Balloon Artist Hannah Markam!! She will be there twisting up balloon animals for the kids from 12:30-1:30!! She is also available to come to your private birthday parties and events throughout the summer!!

🦆 What is a Duck Derby? 🦆

We’ve had several people ask, so here’s a quick explanation!

When you adopt a duck for $5 (or 5 ducks for $20), your duck is assigned a number and entered into the Goldendale Kiwanis Duck Derby.

On Saturday, June 13 at Ekone Park, hundreds of numbered rubber ducks will be released into the Little Klickitat River. The ducks race downstream, and the first ducks to cross the finish line win prizes!

🏆 Prizes awarded for:
🥇 1st Place
🥈 2nd Place
🥉 3rd Place
🐢 Last Duck

Plus, additional prizes will be awarded to those attending the event between noon and 2:00 PM!

All proceeds help the Goldendale Kiwanis Club provide free books to local children and scholarships to graduating seniors.
