Even though school is out, advocacy doesn’t stop!

This summer, Robbie’s Hope has continued showing up in spaces across Colorado, focused on strengthening youth mental health support and elevating student voice.

Kari represented Robbie’s Hope at the Mind Our Future Colorado gubernatorial debate. The event was part of a statewide, nonpartisan initiative focused on youth mental health in Colorado’s gubernatorial race. It brought together healthcare systems, nonprofits, and community partners to elevate this issue and encourage candidate accountability. Being part of this space reflects the ongoing collaboration needed to create lasting change for young people across the state.

We also participated in the Mind Matters summer program, hosted by Traverse Academy within Cherry Creek Schools. Ella Chapman, spoke on two panels with both middle school and high school students. Over the two-week program, students explored mental health advocacy, developed their own passion projects, and presented their work at the end of the session.

We’re grateful to continue partnering in spaces where students are learning, leading, and building the future of mental health advocacy.

Father’s Day can hold a lot of emotions, gratitude, love, grief, and everything in between.

Today, we’re thinking of the dads, father figures, and caregivers who show up, listen, and care deeply. The ones who check in, who try to understand, and who remind the young people in their lives that they are not alone.

We’re also holding space for those who are missing their dads, navigating complicated relationships, or carrying loss today. You are not alone in that either.

We conclude our 2026 Hall of Personal Expression winner series by recognizing our Grand Prize Winner and Poetry Category Winner, Jocelyn Auxier (21) from Tomball, Texas, for the piece, When the Smile Becomes Real.

"This poem reflects a turning point for me—when the smile I once forced slowly became real again. I realized I’m not the only one struggling, and that changed everything. The weight didn’t disappear, but it felt lighter knowing others understand and feel the same fears and pressures. Writing this helped me see that connection can exist even in silent struggles. It’s about finding comfort in shared experience, and learning that I don’t have to carry everything alone anymore."

Today is the day of the Fiore Cares 100 Holes Golf Challenge.

Butch Fiore is on the course right now, taking on 100 holes of golf to help raise critical support for youth mental health efforts, including Robbie’s Hope.

Fiore Cares brings people together through high-impact community events like this one, turning a full day on the course into real funding for organizations serving local needs.

Robbie’s Hope is a youth su***de prevention nonprofit working to cut teen su***de rates in half by 2028.

We are grateful for this continued partnership because it shows what action looks like: people showing up, putting in the work, and turning it into real support for teens who need it.

"This piece reflects the theme of Behind the Smile, in how the model is covering their face, making them unidentifiable. The photo was turned into a digital negative before turning it into a cyanotype, turning the entire print a shade of blue, creating a feeling of melancholy. The mask of dominos symbolizes how a person can often put on a complicated and complex front. A person's smile can create a sort of mask, while underneath they can actually be in a state of loneliness."

The 2026 Hall of Personal Expression winners continue with our Digital Art Category Winner, Dawson Fox (19) from Parker, Colorado, for his piece, The Show Must Go On.

"For this piece, I chose to explore the weight of expectations, particularly those that come from school and social life. For me, expectations feel like something I constantly have to function under while never being given the time to rest; it’s like being a dancer who isn’t allowed to leave the stage. Even when you’re tired, falling apart, you are never allowed to stop performing. You’re always expected to keep going, no matter what, so you smile through the exhaustion and do your best to hold yourself together."

Last year, Butch Fiore participated in the Fiore Cares 100 Holes Golf Challenge, helping generate meaningful support for youth mental health efforts, including Robbie’s Hope.

Fiore Cares is a Colorado-based nonprofit that raises funds through community-driven events like this golf challenge, turning participation into direct support for organizations serving local needs.

Robbie’s Hope is a youth su***de prevention nonprofit working to cut teen su***de rates in half by 2028.

We are grateful for this continued partnership because it represents something important: community members stepping up in a real, tangible way to support youth mental health.
