We are deeply saddened by FF/EMT John Letares's passing. He devoted his life in helping others in all he did. Not only as his time as a Firefighter and EMT, but also as a skilled Carpenter, and anyone he came in contact that asked him for help. RIP John. Services will be held this Saturday. Hello All, A few things....This has been brought to our attention over social media. We do not currently have, nor had sold shirts in many years. The only shirts currently being sold are The Goffstown Local 3420 have been selling shirts and are available at the Stations, and have nothing to do with the association. Please be aware of these type of scams. Especially when its coming from another profile and not from the agency, or association they are claiming to be selling merch for. Second, we have set up an electric payment and a e-sign ups to join our membership. We'll get that info posted as soon as possible. Thank you.

We would like to thank you all who came out yesterday to see Santa. Its the smiles we see from all ages that keeps us doing this every year in town. Below is a sign a young girl made for Santa when we visited Morgan Estates in the Pinardville section of town. Santa let me grab a photo before he left. On behalf of the Tower Family, the Golf Committee and the GFRA we would like to thank everyone who joined us on Friday at Stonebridge Country Club for the 4th Annual Steve Tower Golf Tournament!

We truly appreciate your patience with the frosty morning delay and the later-than-planned lunch. Despite the chilly start, it was a wonderful and successful day raising money for the Steve Tower Grant Fund.

This event would not have been possible without the incredible support of everyone who came out to golf, donated raffle items, and our generous Event Sponsors — St. Onge Septic, Old Tyme Land Services, The Village Trestle, and The Steak Out.

We are so grateful for your continued support and look forward to seeing you all again next year for the 5th Annual Steve Tower Golf Classic on Friday, August 7th!

This past Saturday was a busy day for the D.A Taggart. I brought her to Concord NH to a Parade and Show held at the ARFF site on the grounds of the New Hampshire Fire Academy where she took home, the judge's choice, oldest non motorized fire apparatus. Had to cut our stay short as we then traveled to Stoneham Ma for their 300th Birthday for the Town of Stoneham. The Taggart formerly served the Town of Stoneham as The General Worth ll. This had significance to me as my Great Grandfather served as a lieutenant on the Stoneham Fire Department and unfortunately passed away before I was born. I was able to get the Taggart infront of Stoneham's Central Station which dates back to 1916 for some photos as seen below. Also got to meet the chief of Stoneham Fire Matthew Grafton and he thanked us for bringing the Taggart. The Taggart was well received by the crowd along the parade route which started at the high school and ended at their middle school. Attention all members.......

The Goffstown Fire Department, and The Goffstown Fire & Rescue Association are hosting the Hillsborough County Forest Fire Worden's dinner this coming Tuesday night September 23rd, 2025 at Station 1. We are looking for anyone who can help set up, serve the food, and help breakdown/ clean up. If you can help out please let Mark T. Lemay know ASAP. If you need contact info. Video of the D.A Taggart being pumped at National Night out 8/5/2025. We have been doing this the last 3 to 5 years to have the community see a piece of history in action. We had volunteers help pump the apparatus with water from Tanker 1 Ex Engine 2.

Thank you to the Goffstown Police Department for putting on a fun event each year, and for the continued invite each year. I also want to thank the members of the association/ board members, and members of GFD who assisted us last night. We pumped the Taggart last night. The video of the pump will be post soon.
