Some days it be like that….

The season officially ended last week, but due to the weather we’ve be done for a few more weeks than that!
We just wanted to take a moment to thank all of our landowners, volunteers, club members, and riders that helped our trails be the best they could this year!
Our volunteers finished cleaning up the trail stakes, signs, rope, etc. We thank them for the tremendous effort they put into that task. We also take very serious the impact our trails have to landowners and always strive to respect their land to our best efforts! Without the generosity and understanding of the landowners the sport wouldn’t be possible in the way we do it now.
There is much political noise around snowmobiling recreation these days, but we stand with our landowners and their rights. We hope they continue to support us and our recreation moving forward.
Thank you for a wonderful season!

Hi Riders - just a friendly reminder to stay on the trails. If you are accessing a trail from your home located nearby, you need to have property owner permission for your activity, as it is not covered under our club trails and permissions. We have had an incident in Barton (Trail 16F) along Elm St. Sleds have been cutting into the field/driveway to access the trail opposite of Park St. Unless you have specific permission to do so you must remain on the trail and cross the roads at the designated locations the trails cross.
Please be respectful of others’ property. Usually, if you ask many are open to help people get to the trail, but rogue activity just gets the trails shut down completely. Just because there may be tracks doesn’t allow you to use it. We travel a network of private lands of people that work hard to have them. It’s a privilege to use them and not a right. Let’s keep the neighborly culture alive and treat everyone with respect, opinions aside.

Our Sheffield trail has been cleared up and groomed. Now all trails are starting to look good and some more snow will make things even better! Think Snow everyone!
Continued thanks to our groomer operators and landowners that make it easier for the rest of us to enjoy it all.

Trail update: all trails are open (app to be updated soon).
Sheffield Trail 122 is only groomed in the north half. The groomer had trouble gettin through with the low branches from the ice storm. We are hoping those will clear up soon and we can finish grooming without unnecessary limb cutting to the land. Use caution along the trail and the south end is unknown if any larger issues are present.
