She loves people, dogs AND cats, and her favorite hobby is kicking her back legs like a tiny bucking bronco. 🤠🐎 She’s still learning her potty manners and that human ankles are not chew toys, but she’s making wonderful progress!

Olivia has a very simple request: “Can I crash at your place?”
And honestly, after getting to know this sweet girl, we’re not sure how anyone could say no. 🥹

Olivia is the ultimate shadow dog and professional snuggler. She loves her people, belly rubs, treats, walks and toys, and she’s perfectly happy to hang out nearby while you go about your day. She’s smart, food motivated and knows commands like sit and lay down. Give her a comfy dog bed and a quiet place to supervise your activities, and Olivia is one happy girl.

But there is an important piece of Olivia’s story that her forever family needs to understand: Olivia has a very high prey drive and cannot live with cats, small animals or small dogs. She needs a home with dogs 40 pounds or larger, with appropriate introductions. She would also do best with older children who understand how to respect her boundaries.

She has been doing beautifully with her people and is looking for a home where she can be someone's devoted companion without the constant management of smaller animals.

She is spayed, up to date on her vetting and ready to find her forever family. 💚

🌿 BASIL: TINY DOG. BIG PERSONALITY. VERY SPECIFIC WATER REQUIREMENTS. 💚😂

This sweet and silly 19lb 2½-year-old girl came to Lucky Bulldogs Rescue after her previous family found themselves unable to keep up with the medical care and expense associated with her environmental allergies.

Thankfully, Basil is now getting the care she needs and showing everyone just how much personality was waiting underneath that little Frenchie face.

She is potty trained, kennel trained, quiet in her crate and an excellent leash walker. She loves being with her people and will happily follow you around the house, making sure you're doing everything correctly.

She's also still learning how to properly socialize with other animals. Basil wants to play, but she's figuring out the rules as she goes. She can live with cats with supervision during introductions and can live with other dogs following a slow, appropriate introduction.

One behavior her foster family is working on is resource guarding around food. Basil may growl if another animal approaches while food is involved, and her foster family is actively helping her learn that she doesn't need to worry about sharing her snacks.

Basil's allergies are managed with Cytopoint injections, medicated baths and a limited-ingredient diet. Her forever family will need to be prepared for lifelong allergy management and the expense that comes with it.

But here's the thing about Basil:

Her allergies don't stop her from being a happy, playful, adventurous little dog.
🐾 She wants to explore.
🐾 She wants to follow you.
🐾 She wants belly rubs.
🐾 She wants to be loved.
🐾 And apparently, she wants her water served extra crispy, crunchy in fact. 💧

Basil is ready for a family who understands her needs and is prepared to give her the care, patience and ridiculous amount of love she deserves.
