Greater Glendive Community Foundation Successful communities invest in themselves. Successful communities have a community foundation. We are here for good. Be a philanthropist.

It is like a savings account for Glendive and Dawson County, granting funds to local nonprofits with plans to better our community. Greater Glendive Community Foundation is able to put your gifts, small and large, to work for local needs and programs. Your investments grow in our endowment fund and we grant out to local projects that positively affect Dawson County's quality of life. Remember the

foundation in your will. List the foundation as a beneficiary of an insurance or retirement account. You can actually set up a designated fund for a cause you are passionate about so it will be funded long after you are gone. We give out grants to community projects annually. Grant applications are due April 30. What we give out depends on growing our endowment, with your help. We thank you for your support.

Looking for waterers for 12 blocks of downtown hanging flower baskets starting in June. Every other day. Sign up for a week. You get to drive in comfort and use a wand to water. We have written instructionsl and can train Best watered before 8am before cars parked in front of baskets. They are enjoying another week in the perfect environment of the Bloom & Vine - A Coffeehouse, Eatery & Evening Wine Bar.

You can give through the end of May on yelliwstonegives.org. We paid the $ you gave to the nonprofits by writing one check or credit card at the Moose. Got a call today that Cammy Oakland gave to all 20 nonprofits, so we will be writing another check to all, but not til after May is done, in case you still want to give back to causes you care about. Of course you can help any time of year.

Thank you. It is humbling to see how generous people are. We asked the Joyce's to play background fiddle music and buy them roast beef dinner. They turn around and gift 10 times that back to the community. When you see the selfless work of the nonprofits like Happy Tails raising funds to trap, neuter and release stray feral cats, with no personal gain but some scratches. J& P Pound Puppies taking in abandon dogs means care and feeding every day. GROW is all volunteer cardboard recyclers. People gave over $8000 at their table and $1350 on line in support for a shed for equipment behind the Recycling center they raised money for just a few years ago. Every nonprofit has a similar story.
