I think it would be great if Glendale had some "Victory Gardens" in city parks. The Casa Verdugo de San Rafael park already has an orange grove, avocado tree and heritage olive trees. The live in caretaker provides some additional security from vandalism too.

Despite the headlines, Victory Gardens aren’t back. Not yet.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the regular first Sunday of the month Casa Adobe de San Rafael open house has been cancelled for April 5. Please follow the social distancing guidelines and stay safe.

The Casa Adobe de San Rafael will be open tomorrow, March 1, from 1 to 3 pm for docent assisted tours. We are open from 1 to 3 pm the first Sunday of the month, September through June, and every Sunday in July and August. 1330 Dorothy Drive, Glendale

The Casa Adobe de San Rafael will be open for Glendale Beautiful docent assisted tours of the historic adobe tomorrow, February 2 from 1 to 3 pm. We're at 1330 Dorothy Drive. Stop by for a tranquil visit in our lovely little park.
