🌟 Celebrating Two Extraordinary Leaders on Boss' Day: Jasik Jarahian & Shooshig Avakian 🌟

This Boss' Day, we are deeply grateful for the leadership, compassion, and inspiration of two remarkable women who go above and beyond for our team and community.

💖 Jasik Jarahian, our General Manager, is not just a leader—she is the heart and soul of our team, a mother to us all. At 84 years young, Jasik is the first to spring into action when the alarm goes off, the first to roll up her sleeves to clean up after a sewer break, and always the first to volunteer to cook and host our in-office celebrations. Most days, Jasik arrives before anyone else and leaves long after we’re all gone. Her dedication doesn't stop at the office. Her phone is constantly ringing with calls from Armenia, especially from those displaced from Artsakh, and every call makes her heart pound as if it’s her own family seeking help. For over three decades, we’ve watched Jasik tirelessly pack and ship donations to the remote villages of Artsakh, villages that were brutally burned down & destroyed and are now occupied by Azerbaijan. Despite losing her own home where she had planned to retire to those barbarians, Jasik remains a warrior and a patriot, reminding us of the true purpose behind our mission.
✨ Shooshig Avakian, our Social Services Director of Operations, leads with a smile that shines brightly and a heart full of wisdom and humility. She never dictates but instead leads by example, empowering each one of us to grow and become the best version of ourselves. Shooshig reminds us daily that HOM (ARS) is our home, a place where we are called not just to work but to serve. Her quiet strength and dedication makes her not only an inspiring leader but a mentor who we are proud to follow.

Today, on Boss' Day, we honor Jasik and Shooshig, whose leadership and hearts have transformed our team into a family. Their titles may say "boss," but to us, they are our mother and sister.

🚨 Staff Training Alert! 🚨

On August 29th, ARS Social Services staff participated in the PVT-Heartsaver CPR, First Aid, and AED course, ensuring we're prepared to respond in emergencies. The course was expertly conducted by Joseph Krikorian, an experienced instructor from Code 3 Life Support Education.

💪 A huge thank you to Code3Life, an official American Heart Association Training Site, for providing this essential training. They offer a wide range of courses, including CPR, First Aid, AED, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ECG/Pharmacology.
