Have you ever taken approved sick time? Me too! If we didn’t get fired for it, no one at work should. At the satellite Windy City Harvest Farm on Ogden site, the managers there have gotten quite trigger happy with terminations of beloved and hard working employees this year. Without the protections of a strong union contract, employees are “at-will” meaning they can be fired at any time, for any reason, except for protected reasons such as age, s*x, race, and retaliation. More information to come.
