Thank you to everyone who came out today to support of Hempstead Animal Shelter, all the vendors, and rescues. Great meeting all of you in person. The 50/50 Hank raffle got some traction but we are going to keep it open one more day. We will be at a large event in New Jersey and are hoping to add more to the pot. Meet Choco! He is amazing. So cute, sweet and friendly. Walks well on the leash. He came from Puerto Rico Choco was dumped in a Park. Some neighbors fell in love with him and helped care for him, while others threatened to poison him or harm him. The neighbors who loved him paid for some training to get him off the Street. He is now here in New York, and looking for his furever home. If you are interested, please reach out 914–2 61–7165. ❤️

People always ask why Aruba? In the states we have laws. Yes there are abusers as well but most likely those will get punished. In Aruba abusers 99.9% of the time do not. This poor mama with 3 puppies was SHOT in the face. The person couldn’t even do it right and now she is fighting for her life. 2 amazing groups stepped up thank you both 🙏🏻 if you go to Aruba or know anyone remember the animals. Let’s all take a min today and think of mama and 🙏🏻 she survives. Her puppies are at Luna.
