Breast Friends Fund 100% of funds raised goes directly to Metastatic Breast Cancer Research at Yale Cancer Center under the direction of Dr Eric Winer Ever.

Sandy Cassanelli was initially diagnosed with Stage 3 Brest cancer at the age of 37 on May 30, 2013. She chose to have a bilateral mastectomy followed by 8 rounds of chemotherapy & 28 rounds of radiation. In April 2015 Sandy was no longer a cancer survivor. She was told her breast cancer had spread to her liver and she is now living with stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer with no cure! Sandy formed

Breast Friends Fund – BFF – a fundraising initiative with 100 percent of donated funds earmarked "restricted" for Dr. Eric Winer and his team’s breast cancer research efforts. Dr Winer is one of the foremost researchers on metastatic breast cancer in the country, Director of Yale Cancer Center and Physician-in-Chief of Smilow Cancer Hospital. Dr. Winer is an internationally renowned expert in breast cancer and president-elect of the American Society of Clinical Oncology

There is a sense of urgency when it comes to supporting Dr. Winer in his efforts. It’s not just Sandy and her family who desperately need a cure. The entire world is waiting for it. Almost everyone has family members, friends and co-workers who have suffered from breast cancer. Please help halt this horrible, deadly disease in its tracks so Sandy’s daughters, and her friends and family -- and you and those you love -- never have to experience it.
