Hoping to spread the word and get some interest going...
These are truly unprecedented times. Registration for Gladstone Youth Football is now open. We are reaching out in an effort to get a count of kids that are looking to play football this fall. We are working diligently to ensure that our season is impacted as little as possible by this virus and the government shutdown. We, with GYF and TVYFL, are aware that for some this crisis has impacted their families both emotionally and financially.
We will know how our season will be impacted relative to start and extent of season on June 30th. This is the date that TVYFL will determine start date and/or length of season. Also, any payments made through the GYF website or otherwise (with proof of receipt) will be refunded on a prorated basis. Meaning if there is no season, 100% will be refunded, but if there is half of a season 50% will be refunded, and so on.
In an effort to secure a spot for your child and get an idea of how our numbers will look going into July, we are offering two options:
Option #1: Pay a $5.00 down payment toward registration.
Option #2: Pay $275.00 registration in full.
If you are able to pay the full registration fee or if you are able to pay the $5 down payment and the balance of the full registration fee is paid in full by June 30th, there will be a $40.00 discount per registration. The multi-player family discount will still apply.
We need to be responsible and to stay healthy as well as promote a healthy society. Being restricted to our homes is not healthy, as many medical professionals have already stated. As soon as we are able, our kids need to be outside and interacting with their friends. The best way to promote healthy growth in our youth is team sport, and the best team sport is football. I hope you will reach out to let us know your child is playing football this year.
