❤️🤍💙 It Takes a Community ❤️🤍💙

As we reflect on another incredible Liberty & Lights, we want to take a moment to recognize everyone who helped bring this event to life.

Events like this don't just happen on their own. They require months of planning, countless volunteer hours, dedicated manpower, and generous financial support. Behind every activity, every smile, and every firework is a team of people working tirelessly behind the scenes to make it all possible.

To our amazing volunteers—thank you for giving your time and energy. To our generous local businesses and sponsors—thank you for investing in our community and making this event possible. Your support is the foundation of Liberty & Lights.

A special thank you to the City of Girard, Kansas, Girard Chamber of Commerce, Girard Fire, Crawford County Fair Association, Crawford County Sheriff's Office, our city crews, community organizations, and the many individuals who stepped up wherever help was needed. Whether you donated, sponsored, planned, set up, cleaned up, or simply lent a helping hand, you played an important role in making this celebration a success.

We are incredibly fortunate to live in a community that comes together to create events like this for families to enjoy. Thank you for believing in Girard Events and for helping keep this tradition alive.

From all of us at Girard Events... thank you for making our community shine. We can't wait to do it all again next year! 🇺🇸🎆

🍉 A Sweet Tradition That Brings Our Community Together 🍉

One of the most anticipated 4th of July traditions in Girard is the Wutke Watermelon Feed, and we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Wutke Family for continuing this wonderful community tradition year after year.

For generations, the Wutke Family has generously shared fresh, delicious watermelon with our community, creating memories for families and friends while keeping everyone cool during the summer celebration. It's traditions like these that make Liberty & Lights feel like home.

Thank you, Wutke Family, for your generosity, your dedication to our community, and for helping make this event so special. We are incredibly grateful for all you do!

Please join us in showing the Wutke Family some love and appreciation in the comments below. ❤️🍉

WOW... what a night! ❤️🤍💙

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate Liberty & Lights and made our 2nd Annual Frankmania one for the books! Seeing our community come together for an evening of fun, food, music, and fireworks is what this event is all about.

A HUGE shoutout goes to Eastside Cafe and Brian Tatum - State Farm Agent for partnering with us to bring Frankmania back for another year. The turnout was incredible, the crowd was amazing, and we had an absolute blast!

And of course... congratulations to our back-to-back, two-time Hot Dog Eating Champion, Ai Chase Leanard! 🌭🏆 Once again, he defended his title and proved he's the one to beat.

Let's just say... it was a bad day to be a hot dog in Girard, Kansas! 😂🌭

Thank you to all of our sponsors, volunteers, vendors, entertainers, and everyone who attended. Events like these are only possible because of the incredible support of our community.

We'll see you next year for an even bigger and better Liberty & Lights! 🇺🇸🎆
