From: sensusanrubio October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
As a survivor, this month is deeply personal to me.
For years, I have used my voice and my position in the California State Senate to fight for survivors, strengthen protections, and address the many forms abuse can take
— physical, emotional, financial, coercive, and through our legal system. We have made important progress, but our work is far from over.
Throughout this month, I will be sharing survivor stories, legislation, and conversations about what more we can do to protect victims and their families.
To every survivor: I see you. I hear you. And I will continue fighting alongside you.

We're inviting a small, curated group of local handmade creators, artists, makers, and small businesses to join us for an intimate, festive outdoor shopping event designed to bring the community together, showcase local makers, kick off holiday shopping, raise funds & awareness for Little Beans Cat Cafe & Rescue.
